This afternoon we have been lucky enough to have some LGV specialists come to visit and teach us more about Road Safety and the aspects of keeping safe on the road. In the time we had, we managed to go inside the cab of the lorry , as well as go in the back(trailer) and watch a presentation to go with it!!!
We know a lot more now!

We are currently completing a learning journey about composing music using everyday objects, inspired by the musical Stomp. This afternoon we have been rehearsing our own compositions, finding music everywhere. (Written by JLR and ET).
As part of our design technology learning journey we have had an exciting opportunity to learn more about food preparation from a qualified expert. Julia Vause, our school chair of governors and qualified food hygienist, delivered an exciting workshop to teach us further information about cooking food safely.
We made and designed our own pizzas last week ,however we can safely say that we have made safe pizzas! (Written by OT and IR Y5)
Year 5 children have taken part in the PlayMaker Award.
They spent the day developing leadership skills such as organisation, communication and teamwork, as well as helping to develop confidence and self-esteem to equip themselves with the skills to set up simple games or activities for their peers on the playground. We can’t wait to see them in action!

This week there is a free maths contest on-line for pupils in Lincolnshire. We have registered all our children individually and they each have a login and password.
Your homework task is to log on to the sumdog website (see above) and play the maths games.
