Homework 30.11.16

Literacy:

This week we would like you to explore words that end in ‘cious’ and ‘tious’. What do you notice? Where the root word ends in ‘ce’, what is the rule? Create a poster to explain what you have found.

 

Maths:

Create a drawing to show equivalent fractions. How do you know that a fraction is the same as another fraction when the denominators are different? Take a piece of squared paper home from school to help you if needed.

Open Afternoon

 

Year 5/6 Open Afternoon

You are welcome to join Year 5 and 6 in celebrating their Autumn term learning on Friday 9th  December from 2pm-3pm. The children will start the afternoon by performing their WW2 dance in the hall at 2pm and will then return to their classrooms, ready to be joined by you to share their learning.
