One set are applying the formal method of multiplication (something we have revised in class this week) and one is a reasoning problem, which requires you to really think about apply it. You may draw a bar model or other image to help you.

Challenge:
When a cat sits on one brick, the total height is 35cm. If the cat sits on 2 bricks, it is 41cm tall.
If it is 1.01m tall, how many bricks is it sitting on?
Writing
We have been revising our modal verbs. Remember, a modal verb is used to indicate the possibility of the verb e.g. must, might, can, should, will.
Use these images to write your own sentences using modal verbs.
e.g. The dog probably wants the biscuit.
The lion may fall off the stilts.
