Mental Maths
Some of you have continued to play on Times Tables Rockstars – well done! Some of you haven’t logged in for a few weeks. This week, we would like you to play at least 5 games on it – under ‘Studio’. We shall be checking you’ve done this and if you don’t get the chance to do it at home then you will be able to complete the games at homework club next week.

For our spelling test next week, we shall be looking for those children who can use British Sign Language to spell some of the words. We are practising this in class but here are the letters if you want to practise at home too.

We have worked on using bar models to solve problems and this week, we are challenging you to show someone else! Can you write a sentence which is grammatically accurate and makes sense for each? Think about what the modal verb does to the meaning.

Mental Maths
We have revised the 4 and 6 times tables. We are focussing on division in class. Can recite your multiplication facts and then find the inverse? e.g. 4 x 7 = 28 so 28 ÷ 4 =7
This will be the focus of our mental maths test next week.
